Family time up north in Wisconsin!!!

On July 13, 2009, I woke up very happy because it was the day where I got to leave Texas for a road trip to Wisconsin. I was born in Madison, Wisconsin) and now I was going to visit my dad's side of my family. I started the day by waking up at 7:00 AM to do last minute packing, help load the truck, and get going after we (DGM- Dandem, DGF- Papa and DGF's Retired Military dog[RMd]- Bluma) visited with my cousin, Brysen, which was around 7:30.
Then we went to pick up Dandem's cousin, Alma. Her luggage went in the truck bed with Bluma and our luggage.
I fell asleep around 10:00 because I was tired from waking up so early and hopping on and off the truck bed to put the luggage as far back as possible and woke finding out we had stopped around 11:51 for a rest and stretch stop. Then hopped back onto the road and ate Golden Coral around 12:46. A rest stop at 6:20. Slept in a Comfort Inn at 9:16 in Mephis, Tennessee.
And I leave you with that and tell more tomarow.

Day 2 = familay day because we are schleld to drop off Alma and I but not at the same place. Oops, getting a head here, let me start when I woke up which was at 6:35 AM to find out I was the last one up.
When we were all set to go, we went to see Elvis (Graceland), then we stop for gas and the Visitor center where I got a key chain that was the drier's lisence of Mr. Presley. then went back on the road.
We all ate Breakfeast at Cracker Barrel (Resturant and little shop in one).
than we took two rest stops before dinner (one at 12:33 and one at 1:31) and ate at 2:16. Finally we are at Alma's drop- off around 8:45 'til 9:00 and getting to Gram and Pop's(other DGPs[Dear GrandParents]) at 11:00.

Yes, I did. On the sidewalk, there were alot of Drawings of Elvis and signatures of other people, even on the wall. I thought maybe we would get to have a tour of the house, but it was closed. Then we went to where he was burried and there was a pool that was, as well, closed off. At the graveyard of Elvis Presley, there was his mom, dad, grandmother and baby brother(died young).
pics will be here soon

Have fun.
