| The wedding.... In no time at all (or at least it seemed that way) we were on our way to the chapel. I drove (yes, in my dress I took the first few pictures, but then I handed the camera over to my DNiece-to-be. She took about 170 pictures, but she was not used to my camera and ended up inadvertently switching it from auto to manual. Luckily, I had the manual setting on automatic, so she did OK, but some of these will be blurry. Still, I think I'll let the pictures tell the story of the day... ![]() Mike's Grandpa Lee, sister Beth, Grandma Sylvia, sister Chelsea, Mom Peggy, sister Amber and step-dad Mark: ![]() Steve, my Dad and I: ![]() Steve's sister Debbie, sister Marianne, his mom, sister Gail and Steve: ![]() The groom: ![]() Cousins Joe, Jonathon and Mike: ![]() Mike in the room waiting: ![]() Minister, Jess's grandpa Ralph, Mike, Kyle (best man) and Greg. Jess walked down the aisle to "She's got a way about her" and when she appeared, Mike's eyes popped out of his head and he said "wow". Steve has it all on video tape, as he was up on the side of the altar filming! They started out with the scripture reading from Corinthians, "Love is kind...". Then they proclaimed their intentions and took their vows. They had a wine ceremony. where they each drank from a glass of wine, and then combined the 2 and drank from one glass. After that, their rings were blessed and they exchanged rings. Then they were pronounced husband and wife. They were sooooo happy! They chose not to do a receiving line, as it would have been a little difficult out side of the chapel. Instead, the guest remained seated and they came down the aisle, row by row, and dismissed the guests. It worked out really well, and of course, as the family, we were the last row. My DSiL took my Dad over to the reception for me since we were staying for pictures, so that worked out really well. Lots of hugs, smiles, tears and pictures later, and we were on our way to the reception, too! Next...a ride in the limo and the reception!

| Ohh - what a beautiful ceremony! The bride is absolutely radiant and her dress is gorgeous. No wonder Mike said, "Wow." Hope we get to see more of you in your dress, too. And of course, Mike and Steve are by far the most handsome guys there. You and Jess have good taste. Can't wait to hear about the reception.

| What a beautiful wedding! Love Mike's, "Wow!" I love to watch the groom when the bride makes her appearance--they usually have a great response.
