I've always wanted to go ziplining, but after watching an episode of Off The Map I think I've changed my mind. Not sure if you watch that or not, but if you do, I hope you watched that episode after you got back.
My brother just got back from Punta Cana and he went deep sea fishing as well, and wouldn't you know it, everyone on the boat got sick and the only reason he didn't was becasue he laid down the entire time he started feeling lousy and talked himself out of throwing up. He didn't move until the docked. Maybe the water is a lot rougher over in that area.
Another great update! Glad you enjoyed the zipline! The boys look like they got quite the catch! More please!
The fish were put back - just so everyone knows.

The walking up the platforms was quite the work out - lots of steps!

I'd do it again for sure - I wanted to do it again right after!

I meant to watch Off the Map, but fell behind and never started. Good thing I missed it, sounds like!
The water appearently looks all calm, but isn't. My Dad gets motion sick pretty easy so we thought he would anyway. Some of the boys did a little too much partying which kind of led them to get sick.
Glad you enjoyed zip lining, it looks like so much fun!!! I had a bad feeling that your dad was going to be sick after you said he had a huge breakfast.
OMG, my head hurts just thinking about all the instructions they gave you for the zipline. I am scared of alot of things but for some reason I really want to do that, but when someone gives me instructions on what I have to do, I spaz and think I am going to forget something. So glad you dit it, and di it first!!!!!
I hear ya about the about the lower abs. I started back at pilates 7 weeks after my c section and it was tough. But all good in the end. What's a little pain, right?
The fishing trip looked really awesome. Lots of big catches. Did yoou get to eat them? What were they anyway? You can see how rough the seas were in the pics...............which BTW, your camera is awesome. The pics are really great!
Can't wait to hear about the wedding. I'm a sucker for island weddings
On a sidenote here..........I'm planning on having dinner at the AKL in October but wanted to fit in some fun things to do for the evening while we are there. I know you must have some suggestions. Mind sharing??

Don't they say "pain is beauty"? It's the truth though. I just want to say that I absolutely love your new sig pic Linny!!! It's adorable!

7 weeks?! You're my hero!
We didn't eat the fish. I'm pretty sure they ended up back in the ocean. And I have no idea what they were. I can't take credit for the pictures either - and I'm not sure who took the pictures. I'm just glad they were shared with me.
I'll have to space out the wedding as we have 1000+ pictures of that day alone.
You know I haven't spent too much time at the actual AKL doing stuff. We hope to rectify that in September. I know they have night googles to view the animals and sometimes there's a storyteller around the fire pit. It's fun to just walk around or sit in the lobby taking it all in too.
No pain, no gain......ugghh, always going to be a battle in the tummy area now
So I am able to make my ADR's in a few days ( for our big one night stay in WDW before the cruise) We are getting into the BC like 10am. I plan to play all day at SAB then try and get an ADR for Sanaa for dinner. I know nada about the AKL but think I will of course go explore the animal areas and look into this firepit story telling thing. I'm sure just walking around the resort will be amazing. I'll see what you have to say after your Sept trip, because I do expect a TR

Andre is adorable! Just remember when you're headed to AKL that Sanaa is at Kidani, which is a different bus stop from Jambo House (where the fire pit is).
I LOVE Sanaa! So good. Get the mango margarita - delish!
I attached the schedule for Jambo & Kidani for March of last year to give you an idea of the activities they offer. Attachment 47447
Of course I'll do a TR! Just don't hold me to finishing before your trip. I'll give you a sneak peak if it comes to it.
OMG!!! I had mango margaritas at the GF before and they were GREAT! I wonder if it's the same??? Glad you liked Sanaa, I hope I get my ADR there.
That schedule was great, thanks for posting that. I'm sure some of the times will be different for Oct, but that gave me a good idea of what to expect.
Also thanks to you and lauriep for clearing up where Sanaa is, and the firepit too.
And what.......you mean you won't have your Sept TR done by mid October
HAHA, kidding.
OK, sorry to have hijacked your TR........now back to the wedding.
