Same here!
By the way, I'm uploading photos to Facebook purely because it's a lot simpler than loading them here, as I don't have to worry about resizing them. If you want to see a few sample photos, then check it out.... because of course I'm friends with all of you, right?
We had the most amazing day in Flam yesterday, due in part to the weather, which hit an unbelievable 66 degrees! The captain told us as we were leaving that he’s been coming to this port for more than 20 years, and has never had such good weather when he’s visited before.
The tour we took was wonderful, and we saw some breathtaking scenery, particularly from the Flam Railway, where we descended from snow covered mountains all the way back down to sea level and lovely villages nestled in valleys. It was just perfect. I have so many photos to share with you, I can’t begin to tell you....
Dinner last night was interesting, shall we say... but I’ll save that story for the trip report...
We’re just cruising along the fjord, heading for Olden, today’s destination, where we’re off to see the glacier later.
I am beyond excited to read this TR!!! I'm always excited to read your TR's, but usually you go to places I've either been or are somewhat familiar with. I've never given a WHOLE lot of thought to Norway, and now you're making me excited to go!!
