Oh no, I hope you feel better soon! Sean had the flu a few weeks ago and the Tamiflu really helped him make a quick recovery. I hope it does the same for you
I'm so sorry to hear you have the flu! Our whole family was hit with it, including my parents! The Tamiflu works wonders if you get it into your system in time. Rest up hon.
I really hope that you enjoy your trip to my Home Country South Africa! Please just be aware of crime and be careful where you go. Ie - don't go alone to secluded areas - be careful of travelling in taxis and going into townships unless on a scheduled tour with a tour operater.
I am sure that you will love your visit though, it is a really beautiful country with fantastic weather and wonderful scenery. Looking forward to hearing your report once you get back

Thank you for the heads-up and welcome! Because I will be traveling alone, I plan to be back in my hotel room after dark and have arranged two tours while in Cape Town. The only places I'll be scooting to alone will be in the central areas, during the day-- Waterfront and the Long Street and Greenmarket areas. I will be very careful! I have one of the pac-safe purses with slash-proof wires in the handles and will try to be alert to my surroundings. I'm really not worried at all and am looking forward to a fabulous trip! I hope to be doing my trip-reporting live during the trip, depending on wi-fi capabilities at the various hotels.
Thanks everyone for the well-wishes! My fever is down and I don't have to be admitted, so things are going well. Probably because I did have a flu shot, I seem to be recovering rapidly. Still have a dull headache behind the eyes, which is why I haven't been looking as much as usual at the computer screen. Very weak and still a bit dizzy. A friend of mine visited my mother for me yesterday and she was the same as always-- talking pretty-much nonsense, but content. I'm hoping to get there next week. We're having more "weather" of some sort this weekend!
