This makes me sad that it is closing for a m&g location.
This was the ride my DD wanted to ride the most on her first trip in 2003, she was 3. I was worried it would scare her but she loved Snow White (dressed up as SW that Halloween) and she loved it. I remember riding it a few times during that trip. I'm sad we won't get a chance to ride it again.
I'm sad that Disney seems to be taking out rides and putting in M&G venues
Don't forget though that Disney is putting in a 7 Dwarves mine cart coaster. Having that plus Snow White, in Disney's eyes I guess, would seem redundant. Which in and of itself is kind of funny considering in the MK there is Dumbo (soon to be times two) and the Magic Carpets. Yes, I know it's not the same character and it's not in the same land but it's the same ride. In Fantasyland, one ride would be a dark ride with Snow White, the other is a Coaster with the 7 Dwarves - not redundant IMO and I'd be one who would ride both if my stomach could handle the new ride. From the video I saw of it, I already have my doubts.
I will miss the Snow White ride, however, I am so looking forward to the Mine Train Snow White ride coming to the expanded Fantasyland. I will miss the nostalgia of the SWSA ride...heck, I still miss the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride that Winnie the Pooh replaced
I have to say that I'm sad that they're closing a ride down to put a character meet and greet If they were replacing this classic with a ride, then I might be excited about the idea, but just to have another place to meet characters doesn't excite me.
