I know that when we were there last week there were signs up asking you to return in your one hour window and it was also printed on the FPs. I'm not sure if that was always there or not but it seemed new to me (we hadn't been in 4 years until last week.) Apart from that, we did have to return late to one ride because it was down when our window opened. When we went to use the FP once we were back over there and the ride was back up, she specifically asked us if we tried to ride when it was down and that's why we were late. We explained that was exactly the reason and she let us on. It did seem they were checking the times much more than before. They weren't denying anyone entry but definitely mentioned to people who used them late that they needed to come during their printed time. I've never heard a CM say that to anyone before.
Thanks for the info. We are going to DLR this Fri thru Thurs for spring break and I did custom Touring Plans which calls for not necessarily coming back for the expected window.

While I have heard of the FP times definitely being enforced at WDW, I have not heard that the same is going on at DL. :
That bit of text about "not able to accomodate late arrivals" is new.
It's hard to see in this picture, but in the lower right corner there's the letters GP and a time of 15 minutes past the end of the return window. Apparently (and again, I'm getting this from DIS boards, not from first-hand experience), this stands for "grace period."
Also, if you notice, they misspelled "accommodate."
We didn't even risk trying to come late during our trip last week. The new wording on the tickets and the fact that any CMs postitioned at the Fastpass machines were sure to point out returning inside the window, was enough for us to believe they were enforcing times.
I'm sure that this is not a misspelling. With the current economic climate, it MUST be Disney's way of economizing. I always thought that "accommodating" was wasting consonants. Two 'c's I understand, but two 'm's, are just wasteful!
I would greatly be disappointed if the FB becomes a pay to particpate! It is fun for my kids to figure out how to maximize their rides with the FB. It also takes away the purpose of the FB. The FB line could potentially be as long as the normal lines.

LOL! I am a guidance counselor and I am constantly documenting student "accomodations..." and spell check constantly reminds me to add the second "m"--even in this forum the misspelling was underlined--makes it even funnier that WDW had it wrong...
Being from Atlanta, we have Six Flags. Opened a bit before Disney ... promising to be our answer to Walt's plans.
It costs us more per day to go to Six Flags than it does Disney. (not including the travel and room) When you add to that the fact that their version of fast pass is only available for a price (which is more than a single day's ticket price) Disney comes out on top even higher.
Would I stop going to Disney if I had to pay for the fast pass? Probably not...but I might have to cut down the number of trips I take. I'm sure Disney will find a few people to go in my place, so I doubt that Disney will notice I'm not there.....
