What were they thinking? For four years, probably, "This is working well!" But, like Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over 'til it's over."
The scam has to have been a bit more elaborate than as described in the article. It seems a little bit too easy, considering the "deposit" card is always swiped. If it can't support the spending limit, they know immediately. There are many techniques grifters use to confuse cashiers and clerks. I suspect that had something to do with it, too, but I doubt Disney or the police want to give other scam artists lessons in how to do it.

Wow because of losers like them I could see WDW start actually placing a hold on your card for charges, when you check in. Such a shame people like that have to ruin things for the honest ones.
Unreal - I hate people who ruin good things for the rest of us - they are personally responsible for price increases and things like the new ADR res system where credit cards are required. I hope they rot in jail.

I thought you could only charge a certain limit (say $1000) to your KTTW card and then you had to pay before continuing to rack up any further charges?
Wow! I guess they'll look silly in jail when everyone finds out what they are in for lol ...."you did what?" lol Stupid trash like that messes stuff up for good hard working people!
