There is a rumor on multiple sites that Cars Land will be coming to Hollywood Studios. It says that it would replace the stunt show. Here is a link to the article.
That would be great but I doubt it will happen. Disney just spent a lot of $ on Fantasyland exopansion and with Avatar waiting in the wings I just don't see it
Jane Doe at that site has a reputation for being right. She has lots of insider information so I trust her. The site management researches all posts and requires information to be correct.
The stunt show takes lots of man power and has lots of risks involved. Cars Land or Pixar Studios would not have as much risk to employees and be a lot more family friendly. The stunt show is out of the way thus the concessions stands only are profitable when crowds are at the shows unlike the consession and merchandise stands at Rock n Roller coaster. It would be better to have a family friendly area where people stop for fast food from carts, grab a cold drink, and buy themed merchandise. Splash Mountain and Space Mountain make money off of ride photographs so imagine pictures of guests on a thrilling car ride at DHS. The park has few eateries that compare to the fast food at MK or Epcot. I would add Taste Pilot's Grill but with a car theme, OMG, that would be great.
