As a mom of a young one, Carsland would be great. I heard Jim Hill mention sometime ago on a podcast that pixar place was originally slated to have a Monters Inc. coster and Carsland just to name a few. So hoping this idea comes to fruition. I'd love more to do in HS.
most of what I have heard about this is that it would most likely only be radiator springs racers that would be coming to DHS not the entire carsland. I would prefere to see more original ideas in both parks to incourage people to visit both coasts and get a different experience in each park

I'm going to go another way and say if not Carsland maybe they'll expand the Star Tours/Wars area, especially now that they own them. I know my boys would love that (they'd love Carsland too).
I have to agree with Dave on this one. I am definately on the same group thinking DHS need to grow, however Disney does need to keep some kind of dofference in the 2 parks. There are so many other options available. I am real surprized that Soarin has the same movie as California. I have expected a change there for quite a few years.

I agree. I always thought the Soarin' thing would be so neat if they made it seem like Mary Poppins' umbrella and let you soar over London! How cool would that be? AND Disneyfied too!
Cars Land will be a few years off but all I've heard was it's extremely likely as it was such a huge success in DL. I love WDW and moved to AZ from NJ 5 years ago. DL is nice but to me nothing beats Epcot. Many people out west call DL home but I've had quite a few people from here go to WDW for the first time and loved it and want to go back.
I did our newsletter a couple of months ago on the similarities and difference and I was amazed how much DL has like WDW and how many different things WDW doesn't have compared to DL. But they are so different. Just like a pair of twins they look similar but the personalities are so different.
I would love a Star Wars-themed area, and I think if they did it right that could actually give Harry Potter a run for its money. However, I'm guessing they will do more Pixar-themed attractions or even a CarsLand. That's JMO of course! No inside scoop All I can say is HS desperately needs more rides geared to families. I think that's part of the reason TSM is constantly jammed...there just aren't that many rides that are for younger kids there. With the Fantasyland expansion focusing more on princesses and "girly" stuff, a Carsland would appeal to the boys, making a perfect family vacation in the eyes of many.

Not sure if most of you have seen news, but Disney did send out surveys (to mainly AP holders I believe) about a Star Wars themed land. I think people got it for both coasts (mine was geared towards WDW), so who knows, but I've never answered such a long survey nor one with so many Star Wars related questions.
I'd like to see an expanded Star Wars Land at DHS. I agree that this park really needs a significant expansion. I'm not opposed to a Cars Land, but I'd love to see the Imagineers cut loose on giving us more of the Star Wars universe.
