This may be old news, but we just watched the Disney Jr Live show at Hollywood Studios.
A cast member told us today is the last day it will include Handy Mandy and Little Einsteins. Princess Sofia and Doc Mcstuffins will be taking their place after a revamp.
Very quick to get Princess Sophia and Doc McStuffins in the park, especially Princess Sophia, but I think a lot of little ones will love this change! This will surely help boost viewership of the new TV show as well. (we think both shows are adorable!) I am a little sad to see Handy Manny go though... sniff sniff... LOL
DD loves Handy Manny and OSO and Little Einsteins.... but she is getting older and watches very little Disney Jr. I guess we will have to start watching some of the newer shows before our trip in August.
Doc McStuffins is a big hit in our set. Makes going to the doc MUCH easier. My little girl is thrilled to see both. Although Maggie is emphatic that Doc does not "live with the princesses."

I'm glad we got to see it with Little Einsteins. My son had been looking forward to seeing Rocket. In fact he was very upset after when he realized he wasn't getting to meet Rocket like he got to meet his other Disney favorites. Ah, to be 2. It was during that meltdown that the cast member told us about the change. He also gave my son some stickers which helped soothe him a little.
I am glad they are changing this quickly. I remember going a few years ago and the characters from JoJo's Circus were there and the show was not even on anymore. We love Doc and Sofia at our house so they will be happily anticipated.
I just cant handle being on the floor so if the kids want to go Daughter & Son in law will have to take the kids in. I did it once and swore not to make that mistake again. Thoes new char. are good though
