| Mom's Panel 2008 Semi Finalist This is the message I received yesterday: On behalf of Walt Disney World® Resort, we would like to congratulate you on making it to the next phase of the selection process for the first ever Walt Disney World® Moms Panel! After receiving and reviewing thousands of applications, you are among a special group whose knowledge of – and passion for – Walt Disney World® made an indelible impression on the judging panel. We truly appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to apply to be on the Walt Disney World® Moms Panel. It was heartwarming to learn how much you do for your loved ones and the role Disney plays in your life! In order to move forward, we ask that you answer three additional questions. Simply click on the link below where you will be directed to the questions. In order to be considered for the next phase of selection, questions must be submitted by 12:00 AM, Eastern Daylight Time on October 24, 2007. If we receive your reply after 12:00am, Eastern Daylight Time, on October 24, 2007, it will not be accepted and no extensions will be offered. Once received, your responses will be reviewed by our judging panel. If you are among those selected to move on as a finalist, a representative from the Walt Disney World® Moms Panel will contact you via email to schedule a phone interview for Monday, October 29, 2007, Tuesday, October 30, 2007, or Thursday, November 1, 2007. Please save the date! As a reminder, please continue to save the dates of December 8-12, 2007, for training at Walt Disney World® Resort should you be selected to serve on the Walt Disney World® Moms Panel. | Entry I'm not sure what made mine stand out either. I'm a teacher, so I tried to stick to what we've been teaching the kids about word choice and voice in their writing. I tried to be funny without being over the top. |
