Hopefully lessons will be learned from this and safety will be tightened up where it needs to be.

If the lessons of this tragic death mean that future accidents are avoided then this young man will not have died in vain.

The NTSB info is interesting, but I wish the Sentinel hadn't included the "unidentified source" CM's comments... that's the kind of stuff that just clouds the official info and could potentially be horrific for the person they're accusing, who could end up being totally innocent.

I'm not saying that it might not be true, just that I'd like it to be official before it's out for public debate and dissection.
