| How ride rumors and abandonned or barely developed ride ideas are the same thing I have done much research on Disney development rides, a good percentage of them don't make it past development stage. Though a lot of the canned ideas or ones still in development stages are leaked out onto the internet and dismissed as wild rumors. Truth is their just un-used ideas or under developed ideas that have yet to go further in to production. I'm not saying this about all Disney rumors. Just some of them have a little bit more concrete evidence that were actually being developed before being canned or are in their conceptual stages and could be abandoned at any point. It does not mean its going to actually be a Disney ride it could have been abandoned, or is still being developed. Disney does not particularly like when these ideas that are only being considered are announced to the world by people leaking it online that its definitely going to be the next new Disney ride. There is a lot of things that could prevent that from happening. When a Disney ride is at its conception the creator still has much to worry about the obstacles of getting to the point of completion. They could dispose of the idea at any moment, and it can leaked upon on the internet and get unwanted press. My advice its fun to listen to rumors now and then. However don't take them to serious point like its actually going to happen. There's a good chance that Disney is actually developing those ride ideas though they could be abandoned at any point.
