| Unbelievable.... I found this posted on AOL travel. It's titled: 12 ways to save money at Disney World, but then it goes on to say things like: rent a car, splurge on a deluxe resort, don't eat at lunchtime, go to Sea World.... this makes absolutely no sense to me. Disney Do's and Don'ts

| Good grief - if you followed some of the suggestions, like the VIP tour one, you could end up spending a fortune. ![]()

| I just read the entire article and nowhere did it say " top 12 ways to save" at Disney. It said the "Disney Do's and Dont's". On the first page it says it is a compiled list of how to have a memory making vacation. Hence the deluxe resort, vip tour guide, etc.

| ![]() Actually, I thought a lot of the tips were pretty helpful - like not eating lunch during peak hours. And not wasting extra $$$ on a room with a view if you were planning on spending the majority of your time in the parks. And although they knock the value resorts, they do suggest rental townhouses and condos off-property that have you saving just as much (with more space!) as the in-resort Values do. And their recommendation for renting a car was if you were interested in seeing ALL of the things Orlando has to offer. Their reason for recommending Sea World and Universal was so you could take a break from the crowds at Disney, and, because "the latter was designed by many of the same brains that created Disney World."
