| I guess I'll have to see it in action. My first response is not liking it though. I always buy the food and let the rest of my party sit (get utensils and napkins first) and then find them. I don't know what they'd do with themselves while I order. I've never had trouble getting a table in MK. The only place we could not find a place to sit was the Backlot Express in DHS on my March 09 trip.

| I like the idea too. I hate walking around with food and not being able to find a seat. ![]()

| I understand the need for it but I am really going to miss my 5 minutes of quiet time sitting at a table while DH and DD's order food. Dh still gets his walks to fill the mug but I miss out on my table time

| This will be interesting to see how it works. With 2 small children, I agree that it is much, much easier for me to get a table and get my boys settled while DH gets our food. By the time DH orders and gets our food, I have wiped down the table, cleaned the kids hands, found high chairs and wiped them down and usually started the kids on their drinks. It will be nearly impossible for us to push 2 strollers to a table (or try to walk with 2 young kids) while holding a tray of food. I don't recall ever having a problem finding a table, but we usually try to eat at off-peak hours (before the lunch rush) and are not normally at Disney during busy times anyway.

| Interesting idea, I suppose this keeps out people who are not eating and are using the tables as a rest stop without ordering but I kinda dread what this will do to the lines and waiting area. Seems that it could get real crowded quickly. It also seems to inconvienence larger groups that send one or two people into the trenches to get food while the rest get a table. I understand people searching out a table while someone else in their party hunts down a table. If they are just trying to keep tables clear for people who are eating then have a few CMs patrolling the dining area and politley asking groups who have been there for 10 minutes or so without ordering to move on. And only do that when it's packed.

| They were doing this in June when we ate at both Cosmic Rays and Electric Umbrella, not all the time though, they put up stantion with "ropes" about 11:30am when the crowds atrted to get bad. It worked fine to find a seat easier but, at Cosmic Rays you had to leave the dining area to get to the bathroom then they almost wouldn't let me back in to join my family because I didn't have a tray of food. I had to point out my family at the table and even then, I don't think he believed me until he saw my DD and I were wearing matching shirts with DH and DS's at the table!!

| Interesting....like the idea. Nothing worse than standing there holding your tray of food waiting for an empty table.

| The article did say that this would only be implemented during the busiest times of the year, so it may not be used all the time.

| Honestly, I don't really like the idea myself. When we do counter service, I like the freedom to sit where you want to and grab a table and relax while hubby is getting the food. Also, the waiting areas at most of the counter service places are crowded enough without the whole family waiting in line to get food and sit down so I am not sure how they are going to deal with that aspect of it. Maybe I will be proved to be wrong and it will be great but I am not so sure about it at this point. I guess I will have to see how it goes.

| This is an interesting concept. I also think that sending ppl for a table while one or 2 order food is a better idea, who wants 10 ppl standing in the food line when only 1 or 2 are necessary, bottle neck anyone!?! What they need to do is have someone monitoring the lines and when a family comes in and one person gets in the food line allow the other members get a seat. This will eliminate those that just sit in there for a break.

| It sounds good to me. I hate wandering around with a tray full of food. Liz |
