Where do people get these?

Don't they read anything about Disney before they go?

I was talking to a friend at the bus stop today about our upcoming WDW trip.
She said that when they go back, they'd like to meet the Princesses at the breakfast in Norway instead of in Toontown because it would be a more efficient use of their time -- eating instead of standing in line.

But then she says -- and this is the part that slayed me --
"But they charge more for the meals if you don't stay at a Disney hotel, and with four of us that would be too expensive. Besides, they don't sign autographs at the meals, so what's the fun of that?"

After I picked my jaw up from the sidewalk, I set her straight.

I usually try really hard not to tell people they did anything wrong on their Disney trips, but this was one misconception I had to correct.

I think you did right - it was your civic duty to let someone know that non-Disney hotel guests don't pay more for meals. I'd much rather do a character meal and get all the sigs at the same time than stand in line at the parks.

That's why I always stay on Disney property...so I don't have to pay those extra dollars for a meal! ;-) (strange information gets around doesn't it?)

Perhaps she was confused by the "Free Dining" plans for on-property guests...

Bless her heart...

She was told by a friend of hers who ate at PSB! Don't know where the friend stayed, though.
