Re: Soft opening for Soarin\'

Nothing official, but if the attraction is going to be up and running for the May 5th celebration kickoff, I would bet it would at least be soft-opening by around the first of April. But, this is just speculation!

Re: Soft opening for Soarin\'

We rode it at California Adventures in Aug. and it was one of the best rides I'd ever been on. Personally I liked it better than the Indiana Jones ride.

Re: Soft opening for Soarin\'

I also read there might be soft openings beginning April 1. That will be my last day of the vacation so I hope to catch it! My husband rode it while at California Adventure and said it was great.

Re: Soft opening for Soarin\'

I live in CA, and this is one of my favorite rides. I love the smell of the pine trees and the orange groves. The rushing water like your kayaking down the river. It is really relaxing and not like anything I have ridden before. I think everyone will really love it.

Mary Ann, Linda and Judith, your comments have me even more excited now about getting to try this ride. Will December ever get here?

[/ QUOTE ]It's at Epcot at the Land Pavillion. They removed Food Rocks to put Soarin' in that area.

Re: Soft opening for Soarin\'

This is by far one of the best Disney attractions around. We try to ride it every day when we're on a DL vacation. Even my mom, who is pretty hard to impress, asked if we could go on it again as soon as we got off! It has to be seen to be believed. Just incredible!

Has anyone ever felt motion sickness on this ride-or is it pretty low key?
