The attendant said "Careful, sir, Scooby's a dog and might bite".

Re: Character attacked at USF

I read that just a bit ago!!!

"Please be gentle, Scooby is a dog and he might bite." Something tells me in that situation, Scooby might not have bitten . . . rather BOXED the guy!!!

What was that guy thinking? Not only did he probably traumatize his own daughter but a mess of other kids . . . what a dummy!!!

I can' just imagine a kid saying "Mommy, why is that man hitting Scooby?!" then crying for an hour . . . sad!

Bronson told police he was only petting Scooby. But, according to a statement, Bronson grabbed the character's head and was shaking it. The statement then said Bronson started to grab the character's snout and pull him down.

Re: Character attacked at USF

My cousin was a character at Kings Island last summer and she was attacked several times. Usually teenagers, but one time a big grown man walked up and punched the face right in front of his kids. She is a small girl and was hurt and unable to work for a couple days. It is ridiculous!

Re: Character attacked at USF

It's people like this whose kids grow up to be Jerry Springer's guests What grown man does that?! People really are incredible... it's sad that such dirtbags can ruin other people's day, and hurt someone trying to do their job.

Re: Character attacked at USF

This reminded me of one of my first trips to WDW, whien I was 5 or 6. The 3 Little Pigs were out doing a character greet together over near Cinderella Castle and we were standing in line waiting our turn when some older kids with STICKS started hitting them in the head! The Three Pigs had to leave, and I never did get my picture taken with them. I can still picture these kids hitting those poor characters. Talk about trauma, both for me and for them. I think this was in the days before the characters had another CM with them, and I honestly don't remember what happened to the kids, although I'm sure they were thrown out of the park.
