| Got Moms Panel 2nd round results and... I didn't get through. But, before you all get upset for me, know that I'm totally cool with not making it through to the phone call round and, in fact, that I feel totally blessed! Seriously -- I feel blessed that I got to gush for an extra 300 words to actual Disney employees. I mean, people at Disney actually read my words... no doubt about it. That means more to me than anything at the moment! Plus, I got such a warm and fuzzy reponse from so many of my PPer pals here and got a stunning amount of PMs from many wonderful friends that I wouldn't've have had if I hadn't found this incredible board. The biggest gift I've had the past few years has been the companionship of all the wonderful people here! I just want to wrap my arms around all of you and give you the biggest hug ![]() So, some of you were curious as to what I wrote in my second round responses. Now that I'm released from any anxiety for sharing the steps of the application process, I want you guys to be able to read what I wrote. It all really came from my heart and is a tribute to all that I've learned and absorbed while on PassPorter! Oh... and know that I don't handle pity well and I would much rather have some good ol' fashioned snark and humor... Eileen ![]() ****** Here's what I wrote **** 1) In 100 words or less, please give us your best theme park and/or resort tip for a family planning a vacation at Walt Disney World® Resort. It sounds obvious, but do your research and have a detailed game plan, with a printed copy in your pocket. Note the park schedules, including the Extra Magic Hours, the FastPass attractions, the times of parades, shows, and your dining reservations. Once on property, you may have to “throw it out the window,” but you can relax and enjoy yourself, knowing that you have the information you need to think on your feet as plans change. For fifteen Disney vacations, this knowledge has helped us avoid frustrations while freeing us to find the magic just around the next corner. 2) In 100 words or less, please tell us your best memory of your most recent Walt Disney World vacation. For my 40th birthday surprise, my husband had our Grand Gathering stop at City Hall where a Cast Member led us to a special room. When I saw my beloved Minnie Mouse waiting for me in her sparkly, Year of a Million Dreams dress, I had my own Extreme Makeover: Home Edition moment, nearly collapsing and screaming myself hoarse. Minnie greeted my family warmly, flirted with my father, played with my nephew, and posed for pictures. When the Cast Member asked if I enjoyed myself, I told her that, hands down, this was the single best moment of my life. 3) In 100 words or less, please tell us what part of Walt Disney World® Resort you would most recommend a family visit and why. It’s not a literal place that I’d recommend they visit, but rather that they find the secret, joyful spot in their heart that Disney’s magic can open for them. They should make sure they watch their family’s faces on Kali River Rapids; listen to their husband laugh during Mickey’s PhilharMagic; taste the saffron in the couscous in Morocco; smell the cookies outside the Main Street Bakery, and feel the warmth of their children’s hands as they marvel at the spectacle of Fantasmic! Tapping into the Disney magic makes for vacation moments that will stay in their family’s heart forever.

| OK, well now that THAT nonsense is all over with, let's get back to the important stuff. Take a look at your little sig graphic. Over to the right. A little more. THERE you go! See the three crowns? See whose name is above all others and right in the middle of everything? You've got just 39 days to fully anticipate the beauty, the wit, the intelligence, the humility that is yours to enjoy when Karen joins you for Mousefest! Love ya babe!

| Not Me Either Hi, Just got my message tonight, I wasn't chosen to move on to the phone interviews next week. Just as well, swimsuit modeling may have been next. Good luck to all who move on. You'll be great! |

| Eileen - We're gonna be proud to keep you as our own private Disney mom here at Passporter! Your responses to the second and third questions blew me away - they were absolutely wonderful! BTW - I'd love to meet your crazy lady trio at Mousefest - what with you, Karen and Princess Sharon I'd be in the presence of PP royalty!

| Their loss is our gain. Your answer to question number 3 was inspiring. Thanks for sharing them with all of us! They don't know what they lost but we surely know what we're lucky enough to keep here on the PP boards!
