| Momsketeers One of the folks over on r.a.d.p posted this and I thought you'd all be interested. Looks like we'll all have another chance to join the "Moms Panel" next year  .Momsketeers for Disney World -- Newsday.com

| Disney has been recruiting people who applied this first round to join a "sub-panel"... although, it's seems to be more of a marketing tool to promote the actual Mom's Panel. That's interesting that they will seek new people after a year. Eileen

| I thought they said from the beginning that the panel would serve from 6 months to a year and be replaced, although I can't remember where I heard or read that.

| In the fine print of the initial Mom's Panel application it stated that your commitment (should you be chosen) would be for 6 months. After that you had the option of adding on more time, should Disney ask you to. Also, they were hedging their bets on continuing past the initial 6 months -- in case the panel wasn't successful, they wanted to right to make it "go away"... Eileen

| Speaking of the Momketeers -- has anyone heard anything since the "vote-on-a-name" email? That's the last I've heard from the Disney Co.

| I got an email on Feb 14 saying that the name was Mickey Moms Club. The email said it was the first edition of the email newsletter. Go to the site and make sure you are signed up for their email newsletter to get any future issues.

| That's great news! I wasn't able to apply last time around because of the timing of our most recent trip (i.e., I hadn't been to WDW within the 12-month period specified)  - hopefully our 2009 trip will be in the "window of opportunity" for me to be in the running   to everyone!- Laurie
