| It does sound like a foreign language, doesn't it? It is all explained in the "Welcome" forum under PassPorter Community - Message Boards and Forums - FAQ: Reading and Posting Messages under "Shorthands and Acronyms". I resorted to copying the list, pasting it into Word, then printing the list! And don't worry, after a while it actually begins to make sense  The answer for the three you asked about: DH = dear/dearest/darling husband; DD = dear/dearest daughter; and DS = dear/dearest son. And another "helpful hint" - make a smiley list, too! The easiest thing to do when you want a smiley in your post is to type it in. I did the "find the smiley in the list and click on it" for a couple of months before I decided I'd try typing. It is MUCH easier! Welcome to the boards. Glad to have you

| dh is darling or dear husband, ds is son, dd is daughter, etc For a list of the most common shorthands, scroll up to the top of the page, and click where it says shorthands. Hope this helps!

| DD, DS, etc. is an internet term and not just used on Disney sites. But if you want to use it as Disney Daughter, Disney son, etc., I think that's ok too! I can think of lots of substitutions for the "dear". Darn daughter, Dang son, dumb brother, better stop there!
