|  Warning: credit card scam on Disney resort guests - more info added to 1st post Read this article: Disney News - Credit Card Scam Hits Unsuspecting Walt Disney World Resort Guests - Magical Mountain Supposedly someone posing as a CM called guests hotel rooms and told them they had won a dream of HDDR tickets for $20. Then they request the guests' credit card #. There's an important reminder in the article: a Disney CM will never call your room and request your credit card information. 3/4/08 - read this article - the link was posted in the Allearsnet newsletter: Disney Hotel Guests Targeted By Scam Artist - Orlando News Story - WKMG Orlando The suspected crook was hanging out in the hotel lobby and listening in on conversations. Man, you have to be so guarded nowadays!

| Just when you think they couldn't possibly stoop any lower or figure out ways to scam you, along comes something else.  Thanks for the reminder that you need to stay aware even (or especially) in our happy place.

| I'm on the phone with Terri (DrDophin) right now and she is at WDW now staying at OKW. She said they had a new flyer in her room stating not to give your CC# out over the phone - that Disney would never call and ask for it. She noticed the flyer and now it all makes sense.

| If someone called me about that, I would really wonder about it. But with our touring style, they would only get me about 11 PM at night - not the time to be calling about dream tickets to HDD or anything else (unless the hotel is burning down).
