| 1967 Corvair in Animal Kingdom This might be a tough one to get an answer to, but here it goes... Once upon a time in Chester & Hester's Dino-Rama, there were two old cars parked as if tourists had stopped there to enjoy what Chester and Hester had to offer. I believe both cars were there in 2002, and I think in 2003 too. There was a station wagon and a 1967 Chevy Corvair. When I returned in 2005, the station wagon was gone, but the Corvair was still there. DH saw it for the first time that year, and went crazy over it because it appeared to be one of the last four-door Corvairs ever made. It was there in October 2005. We then purchased a 2-door 1967 Corvair for ourselves in Spring 2006. We headed back to WDW in October 2006, and the Corvair was gone!! We went back this past January 2008, and the Corvair was still gone. |

| I'm sure the car was put into storage. I bet the car was getting trashed from just the amount of people touching it, climbing it and just being around it on a daily basis.

| I don't have an answer for you but I know what car you're talking about b/c my DH and MIL were so excited to see one. Our first family visit was in May '03 and MIL came with us - FIL had just passed away the November before and DH thought it would be nice for her to spend time with the kids. Well, we were walking through Dinoland when they spotted the Corvair. They were so excited b/c FIL used to purchase old Corvairs and fix them up! It was like he was saying "hello" while we were there

| Wow, thanks for sharing that! That certainly must have been a nice surprise for your DH and MIL to see it there. There's just something special about those little cars that gets people hooked on them. DH has been crazy about them for years. |

| I know what you mean. I think the first car that my DH bought was a Corvair that he and his dad restored
