Pop Century Completing the early years 1900's - 1940's

I looked but could not find the answer. Does anyone know if Disney will ever complete 1900's - 1940's ? We loved Pop Century in 2007, but looking across the lake at the unfinished part was sad....

These buildings were rumored to have been so damaged by hurricanes in 2004 that they would need to be torn down and started again. (I say again, this was the "rumor.") No official word from Disney has been put out regarding the other 'half' of Pop Century.

The fact that attendance is up may mean will see some action on new resort opportunities, but I haven't heard anything.

Keeping my fingers crossed!
Eileen

Yes it certainly is errie looking over there isnt it. I sure hope we get rooms that dont look that way on our trips. We walked over the bridge to the end and I took pictures of it, looks really bad over there and cant believe that they just leave it like that for people to see. They are usually putting up walls so you cant see when things are being fixed and in disrepair. Nice place for a halloween party.

I have no idea, but all I can tell you is that we did see work going on in that area of Pop Century in December. I haven't heard from anyone since though that anything further is happening though.

For what it is worth....when we were there in October I heard a bus driver tell some guests that the buildings may need to come down and the whole project started over again due to damage from the hurricanes. They are using part of the buildings for storage.
