What Exactly is a Dream Fastpass?

What Exactly is a Dream Fastpass?
Does it put you into a drawing to stay in the Castle?
Are there any other perks?

Here is one of the ones we won. You can take the FastPass tab and use it any time
you want to that day only in the FastPass line of the ride on the tab.
This one is from one of our favorite parks and with no crowds on the day we won it,
we did not need to use it so we brought back 3 Dream FastPasses intack to keep as
Momentos

So, its basically like 6 fastpasses? How many do they hand out each day?

Depending on the park, it gives you one fastpass for each fastpass-enabled attraction.
There's no set amount of Dream passes given out each day.

Are the dream fast passes what put you in the drawing to spend the night in the Castle?
Do they pick someone to spend the night in the Castle almost every day this year?

There is no drawing for the castle. They just randomly pick a family.

We have been lucky enough to be given dream fastpasses once at Epcot and once at the Magic Kingdom. Although we didn't really need to use the Epcot one, the MK one was a true lifesaver as it was on a Saturday during March break and both the heat and the crowds that day were overwhelming.

We've won dream fastpasses about six times. LOL I know, crazy! Five times at Epcot and once at AK. The cool thing about the AK one was that Bethany felt the baby for the first time right after we got it!!

We once got two dream fastpasses at Epcot within 3 minutes of each other. We go through Innoventions as a cut through to get to Mission: Space. They are giving them away at Innoventions so we get them. I even tell a nice family of five what they are doing so they could get them.

Then we went to use our previous fastpasses for Mission Space. As we get to the loading doors we GET THEM AGAIN. WE even felt embarrassed about it. We even asked is it okay to have two sets. They insisted we get them. Now, we've been to WDW plenty of times and we had NO NEED for two sets of dream fastpasses after we had already ridden Mission: Space, Soarin and Test Track without either of them. SO, right after we finish Mission Space, we start searching for a couple to give one set of dream fast passes. We see a nice young couple who seemed very much in love, and we gave them to them. They were so appreciative.

We gave away our AK dream fastpasses too after we had used the Dinosaur fast pass.
