It sounds neat and it's probably something we'd try at least once.

Doesn't interest me in the least. Especially not for $15-$20 a pop. $100 for my family to ride a 30 minute glorified ferris wheel? No thanks, I'd rather be in Disney!

yeah, what dave said....and he also had an interesting article about disney having a tethered hotair balloon where the current PI is. not sure that i would ride that or the ferris wheel....and lightning, hurricanes, etc, what they are around here would also give me pause to even consider building these things. guess that is why i am a nurse and not a construction engineer!!!!

I have always said that Disney should put a ferris wheel at the Boardwalk Mouse Extra

but now we get a balloon at DTD. I still would like to see them blow up the Atlantic Dance Hall for a wheel

I wouldn't bother (but then again on my one trip upon the London Eye, I got to the top and screamed 'GET ME OFF HERE' - some Japanese tourists who were in the same capsule are probably still having nightmares).

But still, much as I love Orlando, it's not exactly interesting from the air, is it?

I guess we could approximate the view using google earth! Has anyone set up a flyover or anything that would show the view?

Me too!!! I am terrified of ferris wheels, which is weird because I love roller coasters....

I've ridden the London Eye and it was great. But then, there may be more to see from the air over London than Orlando.

I'm not hip enough to program a flyover for other folks to experience, but I did check it out by myself. As predicted, it's pretty underwhelming if you want to see WDW (and I couldn't simulate the actual visibility on a hazy day).

I'm not so sure Orlando will be quite as captivating as New York at night.
I'm not sure anything is as captivating as the NY skyline. There is no way my fraidy cat self would get on that thing
