Thumbs up Dumbo in DC!

I get the Museum of American History newsletter and this little tidbit about the ongoing renvoations was included. What a WONDERFUL way to highlight a MAGICAL part of our history. Just had to share

Landmark Object: Dumbo Car, 1960s
When the Museum reopens, the east and west wings of all three exhibition floors will be anchored by a landmark object—a large, compelling artifact that will highlight the theme of that wing. The Landmark Object for the third floor west wing will be a car from Disneyland's Dumbo the Flying Elephant Ride. The car depicts one of Disney's most beloved animated characters, and reflects the unique blend of imagination, technology, and business acumen that makes up American entertainment.
