| I wasn't a big fan of pleasure Island (except for Raglan Road which fortunately is staying). I do think it's a shame though---- the Adventurer's Club sounded like fun, we never managed to get there though.

| Sue, what you said is DEAD ON with what Andy and I were discussing the other day about this. Where does it end? I was thinking about the fact that you have options for childcare at resorts, but for what reason if you're taking away all the adult oriented entertainment. I even joked that the next step would be taking away the alcohol from the countries in the World Showcase. While I do agree that late late at night at PI it could feel a little sketchy I don't think closing down everything is going to fix all of that. I do think that drinking should have been contained to inside the clubs and not allowed outside. PI and DTD is like a downtown area and most downtown areas do not allow open containers on the streets. And Will, I love what you said as well about "what does family mean". Well put!

| I agree with you guys. We have kids but we enjoy fun without the kids when we can. The last thing Disney needs is more shopping opportunities.

| I just wanted to mention that if you really want to let Disney know your feelings, send them a letter via snail mail. Every letter I have sent to WDW via US Mail has been personally answered with another letter or a phone call, so include your phone number on your letterhead. My experience is that mailed letters get more attention than emails.

| I think there will still be "adult" things at PI. The new tequila bar is not very kid oriented sounding and Raglan Road is really for adults. I think thats what we will be getting. Just no cover charge

| They are opening up a small bar in Mexico but there is to be a restaurant/tequila bar at the new PI as well. The bar will be outdoors by the water I believe

| I have kids, but since we usually travel with extended family, adults are able to get out once in a while. I took my 2 sisters to AC on our last trip. They had never been there before and didn't know anything about it. You should have seen the look on their faces when they walked in and the hostess was talking to the big face on the wall about the ugly clothes on the women who had just left the room. My sisters and I went to 8trax one night, and had a great time. We got to talking to a group of people in who were in Orlando for business. I'm sad to hear that PI will soon be a thing of the past.

| I can't believe I never got to go!!!! We were so planning on it next year, since DD is older and AC and the comedy place would have been ok for her!

| I took my older son's to the CC when they were in their teens and they loved it. And I am sad to hear that AC is closing. However I have noticed over recent years that PI seemed to be more and more dead during the week. And although it did still draw a crowd over the weekend, it was kind of a rowdy place. Universal's similar area seemed a lot more upscale. I was thinking to myself last time we were there that PI looked rather deserted and I had a feeling that it might not be long for this world. Also, I am a shopoholic and love shopping at WDW more than anything else (really) but I have to agree that the sameness between what is offered at the many stores on the property is making it less appealing these days. I would like to see something more exciting going into that area although I don't know what to suggest. I got a survey from Disney early in the year and some of the questions were about PI. I answered honestly that I had only ever been to the CC and AC and those only a few times. My husband used to like eating in what was called the Fireworks Factory but that is long gone. Heck, I still miss the old "Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village", changes happen. Suzie
