I would love a 3 counter service & 1 snack per day meal plan!!!!

OMGosh that would be amazing! We have the DDP this time and it will be a 1st for us! I am worried that it will take away park time but with 3 kids in tow I am sure we will need the break! We wont be able to go back for a few years so here is hoping that a plan like this is a go! Having Breakfast lunch and supper covered would be AMAZING! Heres hoping that something happens along those lines!

It's part way down the page.

They're calling it Disney's Quick Service Dining Plan and it includes 2 CS meals, 2 snacks and a resort mug.

I wonder if this is going to be part of the 2009 packages for all visitors - or if it's just for the UK?
We'd be more likely to do that one than the current DDP.

I wish Disney would do a credit plan instead of a "meal" plan. They could charge you per credit and make CS 1 credit, TS 2 credits and signatures 4 credits. Then you'd have the flexibility to have whichever kind of meals you wanted and if you don't use all of your CS, you could used 2 of them for a TS or if you don't use all of your TS meals you could get two CS meals instead.

We were able to trade a TS for a CS and 1 snack last year. If they do this maybe it will relieve some of the craziness with trying to get into a TS.

I love this idea! But, Disney probably makes a fair amount from the under-utilized portion of the existing meal plans. I wish you were on their pricing team though!

That would be an interesting option to add to the current dining options. I'm still favoring the Basic Dining Plan. I like trying new restaurants and the TS meals work for me (personal touring style).

Maybe they are hoping this will help with the problem of not being able to get ressies.

With the average value of a table service meal at a bit more than $40, and a counter service meal worth about $12.50, you'll need a bit more than three CS credits for a TS meal, and more like five or six for a signature experience. When things are stated quite that bluntly, I suspect folks will start having less interest in dining at TS.

Based on that arithmetic, swapping a current TS credit for one CS and one snack is not a good deal.

Hmmm a point system.....me thinks Disney already has something like this in place.....

Very true....i for one would not like to lose money in the deal.....we have tried both using the DDP and not using it....i think we enjoyed the latter more. We liked being able to eat when we wanted to.....as well as not having to fight the parade crowds to get somewhere on time.....

i hope this deal comes through...it would work out for our family perfectly

I think the quick service plan would appeal to alot of people who are not purchasing meal plans now because they think it is too much food or too expensive.

I was hoping for a new meal plan that was between the regular & deluxe, possibly 1 TS, 2 QS and snack.

We enjoy one sit down meal a day but I would think that for a fast trip when you really do not want to waste time sitting at a TS then it might be a nice choice...
