Egads! It is already so much work to determine what option will cost/save the most money!! Adding another plan will only make me second/third/fourth guess myself more!!

Any word on the price? This seems like it could be a really good deal, but if they only knock off a couple of dollars, it almost becomes an insult.

No word on price yet, and believe me, I've been working hard to dig something up (there's a certain new edition coming out that really requires that bit of info). I suspect we'll know more within the next week or two.

cnfdrate1 - I see that was your first post - welcome to the Trivia & Rumors forum! Hope you'll continue to post on the boards!

That's a good question - I'm wondering about the price as well. As my teens aren't interested in table service meals this option would work much better for us. They could do their own thing and I wouldn't have to worry about leaving them money for meals.

Yes this is my first post. I've enjoyed passporter for several years now, and had to have the E Books and other things that come with membership.

Thanks for the kind wishes.

I will be posting a lot. You folks are great!

I have tons of questions, as this will be the first trip during which my wife and I will have a baby (Our daughter was born in Feb.)!

Thanks again!

Johnny

The cost for the counter service plan is $29.99 for adults and $8.99 for children ages 3-9.

Hope that helps

We got a quote from mousefantravel.com for 8 nights. The CS plan was $719.76 The basic dinning plan $959.76. This is for a family of three over 10. I just received the email this afternoon and it does include 2 CS 2 snacks and a refillable mug per person.

I hope that comes to the U.S.A.
It would be very convenient for shorter vacations that my family takes.

I think I'd still choose the regular dining plan but I am all for the credit system that would allow you to mix and match over the course of your stay!!!

I just booked my January "get me out of here" trip and booked the CS meal plan. Since I'll be by myself, I didn't want to do a sit down meal, so this should work out perfectly, and it was inexpensive as well! I'll let you know how it works out.

We'll stick to the basic plan. DS loves his character meals!

If we go next August I priced it out and the regular dining plan would only be $120 more so I don't see how the QS plan could be worth it. I thought it would be cheaper than $29.99.

With 29.99 a day it does not seem like that great a deal! I thought it would be cheeper then that!

Yeah I'm not sure it's worth it either. DH and I would probably spend about $50 a day for the two of us on two counter serve meals. That's $10 per day less than the plan, and even though my estimate would be without dessert or snacks I've found the snack value to be poor - closer to $2 for what you can actually get vs. the $4 allowance, and we really don't need those desserts either. So I think I'd just pay OOP if I was going to do just CS meals.
