Can I start a rumor? (Just a thought on park #5)

I bought several Disney books from amazon.com recently. While reading the book:: "Since the World Began" published in 1996...I got to thinking...in the next to last chapter they were talking about the plans for the yet to be opened Animal Kingdom....one of the lands within the Kingdom was to include the mythical world of unicorns, dragons, magical creatures, and much more from legends, fairy tales and story books...could this be something that is beginning to brew in the imagineers minds again as they plan for park #5?????hmmm just my over active imagination...it could be something different, and ****how well would all the princessess, princes, etc..fit in here! What do you think?

After all, the plans from the drawings included in the book never made it into reality in AK.
I'd love to go to a park like this...like bieng back in the renissance (sp.) and the times that never existed too......

While girls would love the idea of a full park of princess experiences...wow boys would love getting into character as a prince, knight to slay a dragon etc...Robin hood and more.....could there even be another BBB for girls and a special BBB expereince to turn the boys into chivalrious (sp) knights! (hehehehe told you I have an active imagination!).

This was the "Beastly Kingdom" idea that was shelved for the AK.

I know they did shelve this idea, but it still sounds like a potential one to me for the future...

Actually, if you look at the logo for the park, you'll see some of the "Beasts" represented.

Aye, as you walk through he park gate, look up at the figurehead on the left...yup, ".there be dragons".

Aye, Beastlekingdom...would've actually made the park worth going to.

(Ducks as AK lovers argue over the "halfday park" vs "learning park" argument)

That sounds like an awesome park. They could do it in response to th Harry Potter park that will be part of Universal-Orlando.

IT IS AWESOME IDEA IF IT COMES TO LIFE . BUT THE REALITY WOULD BE THE ECONOMY BEFORE I SEE DISNEY BUILD ANOTHER PARK. I'M SAD TO SAY THIS BUT I WOULD LOVE TO SEE TWO OR THREE MORE PARKS IN THE NEXT TEN YEARS . BUT DO NOT SEE IT HAPPENING . WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON IN THE WORLD. I APOLOGIZE FOR BEING A BUMMER .

I'd like this idea better than "Night Kingdom". It seems that they need to put the newer movies/characters into a new park or really expand D.H.S. and bring them there but I guess there's not the space.

Don't worry...I'm with you. We are actually skipping AK entirely this time. The Bronx Zoo is very near us (we go every year). Once you've been there, its hard to be interested in animals anywhere else.

This has the potential to be an awesome addition to the park if Disney ever takes it off the shelf.

It does sound intersting....but I also see Disney curbing the building of a new park for awhile due to the economy....I would see them expanding the parks first. I often wonder if they could expand HS / AK - is there land situated around there which would allow for opening up the parks more?

When you look at the maps there always does not seem to be room but then when you drive around there always seems to be unused space that maybe could be used for an expansion...
