2009 Theme of the Year?

With the current trends in the works, I propose the theme for 2009 be the
"Year of a Bunch of Endings". Goodbye LTT character dinner, PI, Pocohontas, GG character dinner, Akershus character breakfast(maybe), what am I missing?
A little sarcastic, a little upset, but I'll live.

I hear you, at least in the last couple of days, we've heard of one introduction - online ADR booking, which is a plus. Hopefully that's the start of a series of announcements of new things - we can hope...

Is there any info beyond the announcement that online booking will be available "as early as Dec 2008"? Any indication of how the system will work? I've wanted online ADRs for for-evah...

Gotta agree that there are going to be a lot of changes - including PI closing.

But, Disney has made loads of changes since the opening and WDW is better than it was then. Remember tickets for each ride? Man, can I remember the arguments my parents had about the cost for each ride.....

Anyway, it's unlikely that Disney will not replace Pocohontas with another show. As for Character meals - the rumors have been that they are going to do more of them at the resorts. How long has it been since the opened the Castle for meals?

Sorry you're bummed about the changes - can't say I'm happy about all of them but ADRs online is a good thing (hopefully)......

While I am disappointed about the changes also, it seem Disney knows what they are doing. It gets better ever year. I remember when DTT Disney was a tiny strip of a handful of stores. And b4 POP Century existed....all good changes. Lets hope for the same with these changes.

Online booking for ADR's? Sounds great! I think they need to get their site bugs fixed before adding that though.

How about "Year of Thank Goodness the 3 Years of a Million Dreams is Finally Over Celebration"

I agree about the on-line ADRs - the website needs a lot of work first

I was just going to post the same Question??? That is our families favorite meal!! My husband loves it- when we get back I make the potatoes at home so it feels as though we are back at Disney for that one morning. He will be crushed!
