I think an international movie would be great! I too thought it was kind of odd flying over Disneyland while sitting in Disney World.

I totally agree!

I love the way it is now as it's letting me see a place I've always wanted to go....CALIFORNIA! However, an international themed movie with the ending at the MK would be equally as good.

I think the international theme fits in well at Epcot. I've always thought it would be nice to have one that flew over major national monuments, parks, etc. I can picture Soarin' over Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, Washington DC, Yellowstone, etc. Maybe changed for seasons like Country Bear Jamboree...

I'll believe it when I see it!

That being said, I have always said that both Soarin' and Star Tours should have multiple movies that rotate at random, or at least different movies in different theaters/speeders so Guests can experience the different rides at different times. That's been a successful strategy on the Great Movie Ride, where you either get the gangster show or the western show, and on Tower of Terror, where you get a random number of hurls, er, drops, on each ride.

Slightly OT, but I have never once gotten the Western on GMR! strange luck

I agree with pp's that the CA theme does not really fit. I do enjoy the ride, but it just doesn't fit in WDW. Great in CA though!

Ohhhh! I love the idea of a global movie and I think it would be much more appropriate for EPCOT!!! I hope it'll change and end up in Walt Disney World over Illuminations!

Here's a twist on using the countries of the World Showcase; "Fly" straight across the lagoon toward each pavilion and as you fly over you end up in that country.

Cheers

In all of my trips I've never gotten the cowboy. I'm not even sure they are still doing that.

FL has tons of oranges, so if they did a FL movie, they could still do the orange smell.

I'd definitely enjoy an "international" version - especially one that includes flights over the other Disney parks
