| I'm not surprised at all I was totally appalled last week walking by some rooms after people had checked out and seeing all the tape and marker left by some guests.

| I was thinking about getting some window clings and little things to decorate for when we go down in Dec. I wouldn't leave a mess though, I don't know why anyone would? I say charge away if the room needs to be cleaned because of it.

| I agree if the guest(s) leaves a mess behind (tape/marker on walls/windows/doors, fake snow on windows, etc.) that creates extra work for mousekeeping and/or maintainence then they should be charged however it much it cost the resort to restore the room to check in readiness. I had a small 2' tree that I put up on top of the armoire and took down my last night and wasn't charged any sort of fee. |

| That's what we used in May. Worked like a charm! We had a long strand lei type flowers that we strung in the window along with my window clings. We even used the hooks to hang a 'privacy' curtain between the sink and bed area.

| The few times that I have decorated, I used window clings. I put them on the windows as well as the mirrors. Then when it is time to pack, I just take them off. No mess - no tape.

| I dont do window decorations, however I just want to give you an FYI/Tip. If you take a bottle of something like germ-X with you and then when you take the tape off if there is anything that is left on there use some of the germ-X on it...it will come right off. |

I'm really bad about remembering my room number. So I need something to find my room late at night.
