Indiana Jones I know this isn't a "Disney" question but I was reading in the Unoffficial guide to WDW and it kind of eluded to the fact that they are making a new Indiana Jones movie. Is this true or just a nasty Rumor?

Re: Indiana Jones it's true.. almost http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367882 i think they were having a couple of minor (?) issues like the story/script and the concern that maybe harrison ford is just a wee bit aged for the role, but i think the ball is still rolling, so to speak.

Re: Indiana Jones [ QUOTE ] One of my high school students had told me about this because he was mad that Lucas was making another Indiana Jones and not another Star Wars. [/ QUOTE ] Of course, he's conveniently forgotten that Lucas has produced 3 Star Wars films since the last Indy. Kids! You mean they think they've got problems simply because Harrison Ford is nearly as old as Sean Connery was when they filmed "Last Crusade?" Ah, so many opportunities to make fun of Indy's creaking bones, and to see how many more ways he can replace brains with brawn. (The scene in Raiders when he pulls out a pistol to confront that sword-wielding giant thug is still my favorite.) Who knows? The biggest problem may be Harrison's insistence on still doing his own stunts. One wrong move and the film goes from feature-length to short subject.

Re: Indiana Jones well let's face it, after seeing pierce brosnan in 'the matador,' it's pretty clear that he's left remington steele, james bond and thomas crowne way behind him (unless he really is that good of an actor). i've only seen bits and pieces of firewall, but ford could probably still pull one last indy off.. if they hurry it up. and on a tangent, given both spielburg's and lucas' overall body of work lately, i'm not holding my breath on this one.

Re: Indiana Jones Couldn't they introduce "Indy's" kid as the new guy and still have Harrison Ford in it as his dad. Like #3 but have the kid a lot young and just out of college or something.

Re: Indiana Jones too reminiscent of the 'young indiana jones chronicles' if you ask me. i totally agree with dave that they have the perfect vehicle in the age and waning physical condition of indy, i just don't personally have the faith in either movie maker.

Re: Indiana Jones Lucas, Spielberg, and Ford have all expressed their want of the next movie. Jeff Nathanson worked on the script recently and Lucas is supposed to be rewriting parts (God, help us ) As of the last I've heard, they are still hoping to begin filming late this year or next. http://www.cinemablend.com/new.php?id=2097
