Smile an E-book just for adults...

I would like to suggest an idea for an e-book:

Walt Disney World for adults.

My husband and I do not have any children but we are two big kids with young herats. We lived in GA and had gone to WDW many times. We would like to see an e-book that is devoted to only adult's view. The book can focus more on food, concert, event, resorts, shows, tour....more adult things to do. Some stuff we do not know about but very affordable. By the way, we are in our 30th. Please consider this idea. Other people might like it too. Thanks!

Boy, I second that motion. Although my wife and I take our grandkids, we make at least one trip each year just for ourselves. Usually during the Food & Wine festival since we were married in October we have spent each year at WDW for our anniversary.

I third the motion. My husband and I are also a pair of big kids. We live 1.5 hours from Disney and are AP holders. The only "for adults" book I've seen is Birnbaum's, and I'm really unimpressed....not my style. I would love a PassPorter Disney for adults, and I'd be more than glad to help out however I could.

Elastigirl asked if anyone is willing to write the book. I think I'm a little intimidated by that... But I would love to be a part of a "PassPorter's Disney for Adults" E-book team. I can go on property frequently, check data, and I love to write (thus the MA in English). If the idea goes forward, pleas count me in!

E-Book for Adults

I agree 100% My husband and I live in MD and we go to Disney at least 2x a year. We are also AP holders. We are big Disney fans to say the least :-) The Adult book by Birnbaum wasn't all that good. We would love to see an E Book for Adults :-)

Smile Disney for Adults--- Oh Yeah!

Now that would be one big, wonderful E-book. DH and I are just big kids at heart and I'd love to see an E-Book just for those of us who don't have kids anymore.

(whispering...) DH and I are going to WDW the day after Christmas... kids ( adults themselves) don't know. I don't know how to break it to them. They're not going to be happy when they have to sit the dogs! (shhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....)

I've traveled to the World more times as an Adult and especially by my self and would love to help write the E-Book. I am a AP holder and am willing to do travels to do research if necessary. I agree the need for a more detailed book that can be updated when things either change or close is a really great idea.

Smile e book for adults

A terrific idea! My wife and I go at least three times a year (we're retired) but we love Disney. I think there should also be an e book for those adults who travel on the Disney Cruise Lines without children!
There is so much to do on a cruise. People I talk to are often dubious about doing a Disney Cruise. They feel there are too many kids! Honestly, we hardly ever see them. There is so much for adults to do on the cruise. We've gone 9 times and are going again in January.
What do you think?

Rudy,
How do you add those pictures, time lines, etc. to the posting?
Where do you get them from?

I agree on the DCL. I wish I could write on it but due to financial and health reasons I am afraid to get on a cruise. I think that many adults want to go on a cruise that they can do things that only adults can do. IMHO DCL has a lot to offer for adults from what I have read and can be ideal for honeymoons too.

I'm all for an e-book about Disney adult WDW vacationing. My DH and I don't have any children yet. This will be our 4th trip together. My first trip was when I was 16 so almost all of my experiences with Disney have been as an adult.

Elastigirl - I'd be willing to also be part of a team to help write this.

I'd also love to read one about adult DCL. After hearing many adult couples without children rave about DCL we're thinking about it. We have never been because we thought it would just be full of families and no adults without children.

Agreed! We own the small "Unofficial Guide" companion book for adults, and although it had some interesting stuff in it, I'd really like to see the Passporter view on things. I think it would be a bit more useful for my small, adult family.

DH & I ages 55+, have been to CDL (50 + visits @ Ca. DL) & WDW (Sis & I also take an annual Sister trip to WDW) more times since the kids have left the nest than when they were still at home. We make a X-Mas trip every Dec. (this yr., finally including MouseFest). We usually stay at a Deluxe Resort (can finally afford it), sometimes Club Level. We have alot of experience at WDW and Ca DL,as adults only travelers and would love to help in any way I can in coming up with an E-Book.
