Maybe I should have asked BEFORE I ate it...

Older DS brought over some tomato soup he made- he knows I love it and he made this and it was WONDERFUL. I ate a HUGE bowl of it, then I asked how he made it... no wonder it was so good.. heavy cream and cheese along with the tomato and fresh basil and stock. I bet it had a billion calories ( but oh so good).
You ever do this? Eat something and then find out it has a million calories???

Yes that reminds me of LOVING those Shanghai Wings at Chilis - then I found they have almost 1300!!! Calories. OMG - I about DIED when I read that. Thinking I did so good and "only" ate 1/2 of them!!! That is about 1/2 of my days worth of calories in one APPETIZER. But they sure tasted good!! LOL

If you are going to eat something, you should make it count and eat something that tastes REALLY good! I figure you only live once, so make the most of it! That tomato soup by the way sounds wonderful! I have a similar recipe that I use in the fall when we have fresh ripe tomatoes.
