| Beer Last night my older DS and I went to a Food and Beer tasting thing.. I went because he asked me if I would, (none of his friends wanted to go) so I said yes even though I dont like beer. But I liked the beers thay had us tasting! Who knew there were so many different tastes in beer?? We tried 4 different beers and I really liked them all. So do you like beer and have you ever tried any different varieties (like Belgian, small breweries etc)?

| When we went to Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival, we did a "bar crawl" and tried all the beers from all of the different countries. Our favorite, hands down, was Tsing-Tao, which is from China. I was super stoked when I found it in a grocery store here in town! Here are some pics of me enjoying these tasty beverages. ![]()

| I mostly just experiment with different varieties of Sam Adams when I want to try something new. Old Fezziwig Ale is the only one I couldn't get behind. The beer god has spoken.

| I do like beer, but I prefer it to go with the more "traditional" beer foods like pizza, wings, and German food. Most other times I like wine or mixed drinks. I guess I like it all!

| Portland has a lot of microbreweries and I think everyone in my town has been a beer snob at one time or another (until you realize that dark beer has a lot of calories!) Like Wvugrrrl I discovered my currently fave beer at Epcot, Japan's Kirin. It's light and crispy and heavenly. The only kind of beer I don't enjoy is fruity beer.

| Ooohhhh, I love the fruity beers! Lienenkugle BerryWiess is a favorite, but not something I would want to drink all the time. Years ago, there was a microbrew called Zebra and they had a raspberry and a peach beer and I loved both of those also. My beer of choice however, is Corona.

| I'm more of a wine drinker, but on occasion I will have a beer. My beer of choice is usually Guiness.

| My husband is a beer affecianado (sp?). His favorites are from a Quebec brewery (actually, I think they brew it in the states now) named Unibrew. Beers called Dragon's Milk, La Fin Du Monde, and some other ones I can't remember. He prefers microbrews and can definitely tell a different taste/consistency between all beers. His general favorite is Leinenkugel's Red or any hefeweiss. I suppose you could call him a beer snob, but he'll take a regular beer too. He calls it liquid medicine! ![]()

| Even though my hometown (15 miles away) is the home of Sierra Nevada, my refrigerator has Guiness in it

| DH says to tell you one of his former favorites (he no longer drinks beer like he once did We do have a case of Spaten in the house for the rare occasion when Walt just has to have a beer with his pizza, but that is VERY rare. He won that case from the local radio station.
