Pressure cookers

Do you own one and use it regularly?

I got one several years back and don't really cook with it. Once my kitchen gets back in order, I'd really like to make use of it since it currently sits in a forgotten cupboard. Any recipes out there you'd like to share? Mine is programmable because the jiggly top ones scare me!

I have one that can hold enough food to feed an army.
We use it about 2 to 4 times a month during cold weather.
I don't fear it, but I have a healthy respect for it.

I don't own one, but my mom does. The only thing I ever remember her making in it was turnip. I'm sure she made other things, but I recall the turnip the most.

You mean my artichoke steamer?

I've had one for 6yrs and we only cook artichokes in it, which it is AWESOME at! Cuts the cooking time down by 2/3 for those really huge artichokes.

I would like to use it more often for a larger variety of things...just haven't gotten around to getting a pressure cooker cookbook.

I have a regular one and use it all the time. I LOVE it!! Scare the hebbie jebbies out of my family, but I don't mind it, because I'm careful to follow the safety guidelines of checking and making sure all the valves are clear.

I made Southern Style Greens in it. Chicken and beef recipes. All kinds of stuff!
