Le Creuset Lovers

What pieces do you have/love? I'm looking to add to my collection this year, so I need some ideas. Here's what I have so far:

5.5 Qt Round Dutch Oven in Red
Crepe Pan in Williams Sonoma Green (this was what I got DH for Christmas this year)
Reversible Cast Iron Grill & Griddle

We use all three pieces quite a bit. DH loves his new crepe pan and we use the griddle outside on the grill mostly. The dutch oven is my favorite piece though since it's so versatile.

I have a oval ducth oven and it! I cook about every 2 or 3 days with it. So versatile, you can do anything in there!!!

But if I had to choose a new one... maybe a roasting dish or a "au gratin" ... I love gratin dauphinois and a roasting dish would be perfect for this!!!

So far we just have the 5.5 Qt Dutch Oven. The next item on my wish list is the square skillet grill.

I love anything Le Creuset, but am sorriest that I sold the terrine I found at Goodwill several years ago. Haven't been able to find another one I like at near the price (I think I paid $3.99 for it!).

I just got quite a few pieces for Christmas - my first ones!

5.5 Qt. dutch oven
the buffet casserole with lid
square grill pan
9X13 in. baker
And some others

I can honestly say that we've used the Dutch oven more, and the buffet casserole almost as much. The grill pan's not been used yet at all. (these were nice surprises, but I didn't ask for them - so I didn't get to choose what I wanted)

None yet, just a question. What type of things do you cook in a Dutch Oven? I'm trying to decide if I NEED one!
Thanks!

There's tons of stuff you can do in a dutch oven. We use ours mostly for soups and sauces. You could use it for casseroles, chicken, pasta, potatoes, etc. Its so versatile because its meant to go from the stove into the oven.

I was just at our local Costco and noted that they had a La Creuset dutch oven (6 qt, I think) oval in blue that could do a whole chicken. It was $165, which is very decent...

I use mine (dutch oven, oval shape) to make big pots of chili, beef stew and homemade soups. From fall through spring I use it 2-3 times a week, sometimes more.
