Can anyone HELP break this down???

I have some old family recipes that I am trying to turn into a family cookbook. My grandmother wrote down a recipe for 10 batchs of cookies, I have tryed to turn it from a 10 batch recipe to a 1 batch recipe and it is not working out. Can someone help me on doing it? The recipe is as follows:

22 1/2 cups flour
10 tsp. baking soda
10 tsp salt
10 cups shorting
7 1/2 cups brown sugar
7 1/2 cups sugar
10 tsp vanilla
5 tsp water
20 eggs

I have tryed and it did not turn out really good. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I just divided everything by 10:

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
2 eggs

Hope this helps!! Let us know how everything turns out!
