| I cube bread (whatever I have around) and toss it in a skillet with melted butter, seasoned salt, and parsley. Keep it moving until it's almost browned. I then transfer it to my pizza pan (it has holes in the bottom) and pop it under the broiler on low for a few minutes to crisp them up a bit.

| Those tortillas sound so good! I always make potato salad or macaroni salad myself. I also always make mashed potatoes from scratch. My new go to soup is the creamy potato soup from the Deceptively Delicious cook book. ![]()

| What, Dawn? You didn't make corn tortillas and grind the corn kernels yourself? I'm just teasing! Actually, I want to than you for sharing the recipe - I'm going to try it myself. But... going back to the original thought.... Yummmm... corn kernels. You know, the half popped corn kernels at the bottom of the popper.... ![]()

| Tapioca Pudding. I use the old-fashioned stuff, and it has to soak for at least 8 hours first - then about an hour of cooking time! It's so easy to just go get some, but it's not as good.

We do our own bread most of time - however....I do cheat just a bit - we have a bread maker!!! Dump in all the ingredients, hit a button, come back later, voila!, fresh bread!!!! And YES - you can learn A LOT watching Alton Brown and he's way entertaining to boot!!!!!!
