| We'll be heading over to Brooke's Godfather's house for the day (it's his DD's 8th birthday party!) so I'm not sure of the menu for the afternoon. We'll be making DH a breakfast in bed here in the morning consisting of eggs, steak, homefries and bagels.

| We've got the family coming round, so we're doing a buffet with meat, fish, snacks, salad, cheese and pineapple and some desserts.

| We are having a big family cook-out at my moms. We will have all kinds of grilled food and everyone will bring something. There could be around 45 of us there. We used to have a Mother's Day brunch, but after my Grandma died in 2001 we quit having that and a few year later mom started the Father's Day cook-out.

| Breakfast: French toast, sausage and scrambled eggs all made by the kids with me supervising and taken to Dad in bed (who will look at it and carry it down stairs because "one does not eat one's food while sitting in bed.") Lunch: Tomato soup and grilled cheese, then out for some trampoline time Dinner: DH's favorites: Chicken and Dumplings with cornbread and a yellow cake with chocolate butter cream icing with cheesecake filling in between the cake layers

| We're taking hubby out tonight, so I don't know if I'm doing anything special tomorrow yet... I know it's not very mature of me, but he pretty much blows off Mother's Day (I'm not his mother, not that he does anything for her, either), so I don't do a big whoop on Father's Day either. The only reason we're going out tonight (really) is b/c of it being the end of DDs' dance trauma.

| We are having 31 people in my backyard if the weather cooperates! Hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, potato salad, green salad, brownies, pizza dip, cheese and crackers. I found some low cal margarita mix so that will be a treat!
