| Cereal Question For You We finally finished the last of the kitchen cupboards in our new kitchen, so a couple of days ago I was putting things away. One cupboard now houses all the cereal, and my jaw almost hit the floor when I counted how many boxes of cereal there were. Including boxes of instant Cream of Wheat and instant oatmeal, there are 25 boxes of cereal in the cupboard! It seems that the vast majority of them have very little cereal in them. Also DBF keeps getting cereal samples from work, so those have been added to the mix. I think there is only one repeat box-Rice Krispies. Everything else is a different kind. When we were at the grocery yesterday, I said that we couldn't buy anymore cereal until we finished everything we already have! So how many boxes of cereal do you currently have? Do you tend to buy the same kinds or do you have several different kinds in your cupboard? And finally, what is your favorite kind of cereal? I think my fav is still Frosted Mini-Wheats, although I do like Capn' Crunch now and then as well as oatmeal.

| I haven't counted lately, but I know the number is "LOTS". Our cereal cupboard is really deep and things get lost in the back! DH likes Rice Chex, DD's fave is fruit loops (and I've been known to sneak a bowl or two while she's at school

| Right now - none. We're not big cereal eaters so I buy a box only once in a awhile if someone specifically asks for it.

| I have Smart Start, Total, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and two partial bags (threw out the boxes) of two kinds of Cheerios. I also have a large (from Sams) box of Oatmeal. We don't keep a lot of cereal on hand and usually only have three kinds....one for the kids (either Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Golden Grahams) and two for the adults (Smart Start and oatmeal usually).

| Humongous cereal fans in this house. As a matter of fact, I'm having a bowl of Wheat Chex right now. I usually have to house a few boxes in areas other than the cereal cupboard b/c we have so much. Same thing when I was growing up, we always had tons of cereal. My friends would spend the night and be so impressed with the selection in the morning. LOL. Ones we always seem to have: Golden Grahams, original Cap'n Crunch, Rice Krispies (regular, frosted and cocoa), Reese's Puffs, p.b. Corn Pops, Fruity Pebbles....well, you get the idea.

| I am mean Mom We have 3 boxes of nutrious stuff. I refuse to buy the fruit loopy stuff. We have Cheerios Granola Raisen bran (often buy shredded wheat &bran) But I keep a tupperware thing full of oatmeal for eating and baking. Yummy. In the storage room i have about 4 boxes of back ups until next big shopping trip. I do big trips every 2 weeks. DS's go nuts when we eat out at a buffet that has sugary cereals. Or if grammy comes for a visit. 2 ADHD kids and sugar cereal - OMG look out! |

| I don't eat a whole lot of it, but I love shopping for it - so many options! I think we have five boxes right now - Special K, Frosted Mini Wheats, Rice Krispies, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grahams (I bought the GG on my last trip to the beach in a moment of childhood nostalgia - now I can't stop eating them!). My favorite is probably Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch (not even sure if they still make it - I had to cut myself off a few years ago) and Count Chocula.
