| Anyone have a recipe for bbq ribs? Jay and I love bbq ribs but when Jay has tried to make them they are dry and not tender. So if anyone has a recipe for bbq ribs and is willing to share that would be great. TIA |

| Well I've done them, boneless in the crockpot, put in ribs, a small can of pineapple juice, garlic and onion powder and let cook for 8 hours low. They come out tender and then you can put whatever bbq sauce you want on them. I've not really done grill ones.

| BBQ ribs if you are grilling, cook the ribs first in boiling water with vinegar until almost done, then put them on the grill basting with your favorite sauce until done. They will be very tender! I have a grill with a smoker, so we smoke ours for a few hours with a pan of water beside the coals. They are definitely tender then!

| We cook ours in a pressure cooker for about 15 minutes after the cooker reaches maximum temp. Then, on the bbq for about 15 minutes.

| I grill them over about 250F indirect heat for 3-4 hours bone side up, we don't use anything but a spice rub put on the night before. With about 45 minutes to go, we flip them to bone down and mop them with sauce multiple times. Sometimes I'll also put mesquite or hickory chips(soaked the night before) in an open aluminum foil bowl and drop them on the direct heat side for a few hours to smoke the ribs(start as soon as ribs go on the grill)

| We do ours almost the same way Edisun does it. We also have been know to fill a spray bottle with a little apple cider vinegar and we spray the ribs every so often to keep them moist. Barbecue UniversityŽ Steve Raichlen puts out a number of BBQ cook books and really teaches about the art and science of BBQ cooking. He hasn't steered us wrong yet - The biggest hit so far was the Brisket.

| I know you asked for ribs but my mom reminded me she takes a pork roast and crockpots it with onion and cranberry sauce from the can you know the gel kind. Afterwards it tastes like bbq no lying!!! Also try a can of Dr. Pepper on chicken- weird but yum!

| Crockpot recipe: 3 1/2 pounds pork ribs 1/4 cup brown sugar salt and pepper garlic to taste 3 tbsps liquid smoke 1 med onion, sliced 1/2 cup cola 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce 1. Spray inside of 5 qt slow cooker with cooking spray. 2. Remove inner skin from ribs. Mix brown sugar, liquid smoke and seasonings and rub into ribs. layer ribs and onions in slow cooker. Pour cola over ribs. 3. Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until tender. Remove ribs from slow cooker and drain and discrad cooking liquid. 4. Pour BBQ sauce into bowl. Dip ribs in sauce and return to the slow cooker. Pour remaining BBQ sauce over ribs, cook 1 more hour on low. Now, this is how the recipe reads. I don't use the liquid smoke and I don't measure anything. I don't layer the onion and ribs, just stick it all in together. These always turn out really good! ![]()
