| What's for dinner 8/18? I think we're having Subway, and I requested angel food cake with strawberries and cool whip for my birthday cake

| Yum! That birthday cake sounds delish! We're having pasta with tomatoes, sweet turkey italian sausage, broccoli, parmesean, all drizzled with a little olive oil. It's one of our standbys.

| I'm indecisive at the moment! We'll probably cook something up on the grill. Maybe some chicken and then I'll make my grandmother's rice pilaf recipe. Waiting for DH to come home from work to decide. Hope your birthday celebration is wonderful, Tina!

| I took out some hamburger meat from the freezer with no real plan for it. I will probably end up making tacos though. (Complete with fresh fried taco shells and with the leftover tortillas, fresh tortilla chips)

| Leftovers for us. I cooked a Shrimp Stew on Saturday night and Meatloaf with mashed potatoes on Sunday night so I wouldn't have to cook for a few days this week since we are so busy at work. |

| These are all making me hungry! I spent the day at my classroom putting the finishing touches on things. I came home early to put a rack of baby back ribs in the oven and then to finish them out on the grill later. I'm not sure what we're having with it though...

| Happy Birthday Tina - sounds like you're still doing great on your plan - even on your birthday! I'm still on challenge here- so I've got a big bowl of steamed broccoli. I made a nice garlicky London Broil on the grill, rice pilaf and corn for everyone else - meaning John, Jennie, and her friends Tori and Kassie. Of course - Kassie's car wouldn't start, so the other two went to rescue her (Do they even know how to use jumpers - I think not - especially since they aren't back yet!) So - they will have cold steak, rice and corn. I did steal one small piece of London Broil - but no rice or corn! Sarah had the best dinner - she's at my sister's and she just texted me - she had lobster for dinner in honor of their annniversary!

We went to a place called The Greene Turtle, and I had steamed spiced shrimp, our sons had pizza and a queso-topped burger, and my DW had cajun blackened sliders with blue cheese.
