| Has anyone used those Green Bags? I was wondering if anyone had tried those GreenBags, the ones they advertise on the infomercial that are supposed to keep your fruits and veggies fresh for three times as long? We seem to throw out alot of produce, and I was wondering if they were any good. Here is the link: https://www.greenbags.com/?cid=372619

| I have wondered if they would work also. Hopefully somebody here has tried them and will report back. I have had fairly good luck extending the life of my bagged lettuce and spinach by putting a paper towel in the bag to absorb all the excess moisture.

| I've used them. They seem to extend the life of my produce (I don't think it's as long as they say on the commercials, though). I bought some bananas a little over a week ago and they're a bit brown but nothing like they would be without the green bags. |

| We have them and Im not at all impressed. Bananas last maybe a day or 2 longer. Strawberrys only lasted about 5 days in the bags. Lettuce maybe a week. They collect alot of moisure. You are suppose to leave the bag open and it still collects alot of moisure. If you want to give them a try then I say go for it. But just from my own experience I wouldnt waste the money. |

| They work great for me. They do collect moisture but I just use a clean dry dishcloth or a paper towel to wipe it out. If you read the very brief "instructions" it tells you to wipe out as much of the moisture as you can. Being single and living by myself these bags are a money saver and diet improver for me. |

| Our local news station did a story on them and they did NOT do much of anything. It was a thumbs down...

| I bought them and found that yes, you do need to wipe off excess moisture from the veggies before you put it in the bag, and when reusing the bags wipe them totally dry. Certain veggies did better than others. I bought mine at Bed Bath and Beyond. No shipping then, and you don't have to wait for them in the mail. |

| I think they do well for some things and not so well for others. They make my blueberries last FOREVERRRRRRRRRR. My cherries, not so long. I also buy those mini-cukes and they last at least 1-2 WEEKS longer. So they do work for some things. But I agree with what someone said. They aren't the MIRACLE they advertise on the box or on TV! Final Evaluation: I'm glad I bought them!
