| Interesting question. If you do this..I would make sure the pizza dough sits in a warm area for several minutes before you use it. It will make the pretzels lighter and not as dense. I've never done this but I would love to find out how it went.

| I think you may have a different flavor using bread dough. I also doubt you would get the same "crust" that yo9u get with a pretzel. Have you tried making pretzel dough?> Looked at the ingredients of both? Diane |

| I think you could get the same texture if you twisted them into pretzel shapes and dropped them into boiling water with baking soda (like you do with pretzels) and then pulled them out and put them in the oven to bake. I think I'd rather take the time to make the dough myself. Bobby Flay did a great recipe that's on the Food Network website. It's easy to do and is sooooo delicious! Eileen
