| Tonight DH and I were supposed to head to Maryland to go to Dave & Buster's for our Anniversary Dinner which is today, but now I'm waiting for him to give me the heads up on when we're heading out to TGI Fridays! Only things I know are for sure tonight is a Hurricane with my dinner, and Champagne and Chocolate Anniversary Cake with Chocolate Covered Strawberries. I will have to wait and decide when we go out for dinner in a little while. I think DH is still full from his sub he had for lunch when we went to Wegman's earlier (DSIL and I both had multiple things from the Wakery Statation and shared with DS) to have lunch and pick up our cake. As to our dinner at Fridays, I was good and only ordered 1 Hurricane (the Bartender even had to look up the recipe since nobody orders them from this particular Fridays) and I had the Friday's Shrimp which was delicious, and DH had a Jack Daniels and Coke and a Tequila Sunrise (he doesn't drink on work nights but today was a very special occasion) and had the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta, and we shared Potato Skins. Our cake was delicious and I've posted a picture of it on the Cake Forum incase anyone needs an idea of a cake with Chocolate Covered Strawberries. The buttercream frosting was quite light and the cake was super moist! It was a great dessert for our Anniversary! As I type this I am drinking my small bottle of Champagne (maybe a little over a glass) and DH is saving his for another time.

| I made a quick dinner tonight. I cooked up two packages of Creamy Chicken Ramen Noodles, and then drained the water. Then I added a 16 oz package of mixed veggies (carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli). After mixing this together, I added the seasoning packets and a little bit of Wyler's chicken crystals. I topped it with some ground black pepper, and dinner was served!

| DH was all kinds of bummed that I had other plans and/or we were out for dinner all weekend and he couldn't do his "normal" grilling thing . . . So, he grilled ribeyes on the charcoal grill while I made mac and cheese and brocolli with cheese sauce as the side dishes per DD's request. She kind of likes food stuffs in cheese. ![]()
